I found it fun and accurate. At last a good music app.

Wish this had a reverb and a Harmon mute option. I want to sound like miles.

This is a great app. But the tuning vibrato trick needs a little tweaking- it likes to play out of tune, there needs to be a bigger sweet spot for the pitch center. Please please please make the pitches transposable to Bb, C D Eb and piccolo A & Bb! This app would be so much better for practicing if it had that feature. For the piccolo trumpet there are four valves and slightly different fingerings. Have you experimented with "lead" trumpet notes? What If you hit high c maybe the "smear" trick would take it up to the altissimo range?

The app is a lot of fun, and all trumpet players should get it. It would benefit from more range in the upper register.

I love the way it is set up, as now I have a much better understanding of how the trumpet works. Having never played the trumpet, I first used the roboTrump and was able to see how to play the songs. Then I tried playing along with the songbook. I love the rainbow color coded notes. It really helps to anticipate which keys I am supposed to press. After a few tries I really started to get the hang of it. The video was also helpful to show me how to position my fingers. Great fun!

This is an amazing trumpet app, although Ill never say that its better than the iBone (Im a trombone player). I wouldnt even think twice about pushing the "buy app" button! Its amazingly fun too wether you know anything or nothing you can have tons of fun. I expect more awesome instruments instruments from you Spoonjack! :)

i AM a trumpet player and can tell you that it stincks.

I have been a trumpet player for going on 20 years and have played and owned all the brands and all the styles at one point in time. When I saw this application I have to say I was a little apprehensive; but for the price I thought why not. Probably one of the best app purchases Ive made to date. Not only does it allow you to work simultaneous fingerings but a slight wiggle on a valve and you can adjust the pitch. Definetly has my approval and I urge any true lovers of the trumpet to take the plunge and buy it as well; itll keep ya occupied between sessions. Would have gave it 5/5 but Im holding out with just a 4/5 with the hope that the developer will provide an update with one more octave higher. With an additional octave up I would have gave it a 5 and prolly even paid another dollar.

This is a cool app even tho Im a guitarist and I dont play the trumpet its still alot of fun

Okay app. Ive played for 16 years and was excited to try, even given the higher price. Cant seam to find low C.

Its ok but its hard to play if you dont really know how to play.

Its a good application for the trumpet enthusiast, the fingerings are all there. The "blow" feature is there mainly for fun, its kind of impossible to tell what open note you plan on blowing to next. Other than that its a neat little trumpet app, 3 bucks is a little steep but Id say its worth it. Good programming quality. Very nice iPhone emulation of a real trumpet.

This app makes me want to dust off the old trumpet. Its great just like iBone!

Being a trumpet player myself for 10 years, Im just not diggin this. Its a great idea, but I just find it extremely hard to actually play songs on it with the current layout. Perhaps more time on it will yield better results, but since Im already an experienced trumpet player, its kinda pointless to "relearn" it just play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Could use more songs as well.

I am 13 and have been playing trumpet for about 5 years. So far I really enjoy this App. Although it should have more music in its library and you should be able to create and share music ITS THE BEST TRUMPET APP OUT THERE. Ill be playing this for quite a while.

I cant believe theyre marketing this ridiculous app for $1.99. You can get something like this for FREE.

If you put 2 fingers on one button and wiggle your fingers lightly, it will get higher and higher until its a dog whistle and then it crashes. But it still works when you get back on.

This app is great!!! However, i wish it had the ability to play higher. I also have the corresponding trombone app (ibone) and that actually can play higher up than this trumpet. That should be fixed, because really good trumpet players will usually have to play above a C, which is the limit on this app. Trombone players rarely need to go that high (Ive never heard of a "screech trombone"). Overall though, this is definitely the best trumpet app out there. Id give it more stars if I could.
